“Temporary Sign” A Sign which is not in a permanently installed or affixed position, advertising a location, product, event, or activity on a limited time basis

“Portable Sign” Any Sign not permanently attached to the ground or other permanent structure, or a Sign designed to be transported, including but not limited to Signs designed to be moved on wheels, balloons, and inflatable devices used as Signs. A Portable Sign is a Temporary Sign.

  • A valid permit is required to place a portable sign
    • 1 temporary sign is allowed for every 90m of street frontage
    • Permits can be issued for a period not exceeding one year
    • Must not obstruct views of traffic
